Just like the movies/Random thoughts on the news

I was listening to news broadcasts about the riots in England, failing domestic and international economies, never-ending deficits, civilian abductions around the world sans local government protection, asylum seekers, public resignations and local attacks and I think, wow, the world seems more and more like the plot of V for Vendetta…

Then I wonder if: these occurrences are really increasing and that at the moment the world is truly on a downward spiral; I have been blithely naive and critically misinformed, or if the media and/or government has just been terribly good at covering up crimes against humanity?

Is this an air for revolution or what?
